1986-1988

I was the eighth president of the organization in 1986 - 1988. I also served as vice-president in 1990 - 1992, when Reid Mullins was president.

I have also served as Membership Chairman for one year, Legislative Chairman for several years, Chairman of the Nominating Committee for one rear and on the Auction Committee for the past several years.

So many people have made my years with the Gwinnett County Retired Teachers Association pleasant and productive. They are dedicated and dependable. I remember he support I received from Sara and Gerald McQuaig, Colleen and Irving Levy, Vera rnd Neal Timms. Neal has worked so hard on membership.

I also remember Christine Blaney who represented us at the Senior Council and Grace Puckett for her constant contributions to the sick, the hospitalized and those in nursing homes. These are just a few. I could name so many more, as the Gwinnett County Retired Teachers Association is made up of such a busy, caring group!
